Practical matters, what do I need?
At what times can I make appointments? How much does a session cost? Can I get reimbursed? You can find the answers to these questions here. Is there something else you want to ask? Feel free to contact me.
Rate and reimbursement
A session takes 45 minutes and costs 90 euro. After this we usually take a bit of time to make a new appointment or to discuss other practical matters. You will receive the invoice by e-mail the next working day.
If you have additional insurance, you can get a part of the cost back through your Dutch insurance company. The amount depends on your package. Click here for an overview or on the website of your own insurance company for the possibilities.
Beware: the therapy is not reimbursed from your basic Dutch insurance. That’s why you don’t need a referral from your general practitioner.
The practice is open for appointments on:
Monday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Tuesday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Thursday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
When you want to cancel an appointment, take into account to do this at least 24 hours beforehand. For appointments that are cancelled too late, I charge a ‘no-show’-rate of 45 euro.
How many sessions? Online or live?
The amount of sessions necessary depends on the seriousness and duration of your symptoms, your support network and other options available to you. Because I want to prevent you from relapsing, I like to work as thoroughly as possible. We always discuss together what is a good frequency and length for you, depending on your options and wishes.
Since the covid epidemic, I’ve gained good experiences with online therapy. I prefer to meet in person, but online video calling is definitely an option. A combination is also possible, where we alternate between meeting in person and online.
